Spring Time
Time flies when you're having fun - isn't that what they say?
Life in our lovely part of the world is settling back into some semblance of normality and it is so lovely to see so many people still choosing to holiday in Devon.
We've had a busy start to the year and as Spring continues we are greeted with new born lambs and new life everywhere! Devon is a wonderful place to visit at anytime of the year but there is something so delightful about visiting us in Spring.
Winkleigh continues to go from strength to strength and our little village really does seem to be at the centre of all things. When you visit be sure to check out the new Catkin Blooms at Bissetts Garage (a minute walk away) for coffee & amazing homemade cake. Catkins stock a wide variety of local artisan crafts - perfect for a gift or two or three..., or maybe try the new Bean & Leaf cafe on South Street which opened this week. If it's dinner & a pint you're after then pop into The Kings Arms and discover why they have received a Trip Advisor Travellers Choice award. For some good live music or to watch a bit of live sport with a pint or two then pay a visit to The Seven Stars pub. All are within a minutes walk from the cottage.
If it's lambs you want to see then look no further than the surrounding fields! Of course you could take a trip to either Woolley Animals Farm Park, War Horse Valley Farm Park or The Big Sheep - all have cuteness overload right now!
Talking of cuteness...
