A Sea of Gold

Devon is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year, but I have to admit, there is something about Autumn as it transitions into winter that makes my fingers tingle. Crisp bright mornings coupled with an array of burnt toffee and rust orange fill almost every vista. You really are spoilt for choice. There has not been too much rain (so far) this year, and the ground has that special crispy crunch under foot as you walk across Dartmoor.

The cottage is always ready and waiting for those weary travellers who've spent a day out walking across Dartmoor or at the beach. After being fed and watered at The Kings Arms snuggle up by the lovely wood burner - there really is no better place to be!
